how it all began
For years, I struggled in my relationship with God. I often felt distant, disconnected, and unsure of how to truly draw close. It wasn’t until the Holy Spirit gently revealed something simple yet life-changing: if I would learn to let go—in other words, be still—I’d discover the intimacy I was missing. I realized that my need to stay in control was keeping me from feeling safe in His presence. I’m not perfect at this, but day by day, I’m learning to surrender, to stop striving, and to simply be His beloved daughter. And let me tell you—Abba has become my true delight. Whether I’m serving, wrestling with emotions, or walking through hard seasons, I know God is close. He’s taught me to rest in the words He spoke: “Be still, and know that I am God.” This blog is my life’s project—my journey of learning to be still, and I hope it encourages you to do the same.
